bridge over troubled water

there are som songs, some simple songs, some hopeful songs, some lifesaving songs.
all of you have had the shivering feeling os orgasmic musical discovery. this song will always remain my brain as a teary eye song, a mellow intro that get;s to your soul, a melancolic piano that vibrates in your tears. there are some songs that you simply cannot call songs. how can art like this be defined by a word? how can the trembling, suffering voice that calls you to hope be resumed in word? i refuse to call this entity a song instead i shall call it vibrating dream

Pink Floyd and society

later in their muscial activity Pink Floyd approached a more social type of music, still using their distinctive sound.
this being said i introduce you to "The wall"(both the album and the must see movie) and "the division bell" i cannot say more, you will just have to listen to them.
oh i almost forgot "the final cut" album

Pink Floyd again

i can't helped but write about Pink Floyd. i guess after you have listened to the first two albums i have mentioned you should have gotten used to the sound of Pink Floyd. So now it's time to get absolutely lost in their music by listenint to albums like "ummagumma", "atom heart mother", "animals", "dark side of the moon", "the piper at the gates of dawn". all of this albums still remain true to the spiritual message of Pink Floyd. This journey should culminate with their psychedelic masterpiece "live at pompeii" an one hour live concert without any audience, placed in the ruins of Pompeii.

meddle

after listening to "wish you were here" album i recommend you listen to "meddle" a more elevated album which includes the 20 min song "echoes" a masterpiece of blended sounds and highly studied guitar pieces. This album is one of the earliest work of Pink Floyd, works that do not include the powerful social message found in their later albums.
I recommend listening to this album with the light out and with a burning incense candle, you will have quite an experience.

intro

in my opinion every man should start it's journey into rock(especially into psychedelic) with Pink Floyd. You will find here elements from all types of rock. You will find anger, disillusion, confusion, delirium, optimism, hope, beauty...
As for the music itself i consider it to be a mix of a struggling guitar, a guitar that suffers that feels every punch in the face, and a marching drum and base that keeps on pushing that guitar through life. Of course the slowish sounds and the high pitch that keeps on wrecking your brain combined with strange sounds propel Pink Floyd in the psychedelic sphere of music.

I think that the best way of starting enjoying Pink Floyd is by listening to the "wish you were here album". In this album a young listener could familiar himself with the artsy music of Pink Floyd (Shine on you crazy diamond) and with the shivering sounds o psychedelia(Welcome to the machine).
This is it as far as the intro goes, i will continue writing about music
